No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

One movie that I am interested in seeing is No Good Deed starring Taraji P. Henson and Idris Elba.

I have been keeping an eye on this film since I first heard about it in 2012. I am pretty sure that most of you have already seen the trailer but I am still posting it here since it premieres next month.

Idris Elba as the bad guy?! You know what, I am here for that!

Elba plays a mysterious stranger who invades a former District Attorney’s (Henson) home after his car runs off the road. He is obviously someone with a very dangerous past and Henson’s character will have to fight with everything she has in order to survive this ordeal. Though the story line feels like something I have seen before, I think the chemistry between Henson and Elba will help to sell this film.

This film was actually pushed back several times as it was originally supposed to premiere sometime last year if I am not mistaken. I do hope that it doesn’t cause a lack in viewership as it is nice to see these two in starring roles for a film like this.

I know I will be scurrying my way along to the theater if for no other reason that Idris Elba’s sexy self is in it.
