After my post about the much-needed TV shows, I knew I needed to make one to pay homage to the movies that absolutely need to be on Netflix.
I’m not talking about Netflix DVD, because who has the time for that? I surely don’t! I’m talking about streaming. It’s not that there isn’t a good selection to choose from now, it’s just that it is a missing a few things. Allow me to help you rectify the situation.
These are the 21 movies Netflix needs to add ASAP!
Do I really need to give an explanation as to why this film is needed?
This is a film that should be everyone's list, including Netflix's.
The romantic comedy that most hold dear to their heart deserves to be watched at their disposal.
Even I can't deny a best friends-to-lovers storyline.
The ultimate "battle of the sexes" film, and one of my all time favorites.
Very underrated film. It doesn't come on television often enough so I need this available in my queue.
"Marccuuussss!"
Denzel Washington's film directorial debut.
"Freedom is coming tomorrow!"
Just like every other girl, I wanted the "Poetic Justice" braids after watching this film.
Because 2 was better than 1.
If you don't know this film, I can't trust you. It won't go down in history on any film lists but it's a cult classic.
Because don't we all love the scene when Bernadine set shit on fire?
Another cult classic. BET plays it a bit but not nearly enough.
Who doesn't need to be involved in Jody and Yvette's shenanigans whenever we want? The uncut version too, please.
If you need any more suggestions, Netflix, feel free to let a sister know. I’m a wealth of knowledge. 🙂
