“Ezra wasn’t picture perfect, but he was perfect for me.” —Lilac
Lilac Baker wasn’t against finding love, but love never seemed to be close enough for her to grasp. With her big sister pregnant and living out her happy ending, Lilac has high hopes for her own fairytale beginning. Then, with the shutter of his Canon EOS, Ezra Fields walks into the picture, igniting a thrilling fire inside of her chest that can’t be put out. One encounter with the talented photographer sends her heart into overdrive, and their budding romance soon changes her life.
*Please note, this is book two of a five-part interconnected series. Though each book is a standalone, some parts of the storyline are ongoing.
I’m back, as promised, with Lilac’s story!
Not sure what I’m talking about? Click HERE to read my review of Book 1 of Asia Monique’s The Flower Sisters series.
Lilac is a food blogger and private chef and is in need of a website refresh. This is where photographer Ezra Fields enters the picture. Together, they work to make a revamp a hit. However, all work and no play satisfies no one. While Lilac may have just been introduced to Ezra, he’s had his eyes on her for a while and now that she’s within reach – he’s willing to prove he’s the man she needs in her life.
Lilac’s love language is words of affirmation and BABBBYYYYYYY, Ezra steps up to the goddamn plate. He anticipates needs and makes life easier for her when he can. Do you know what that is called? A winner!
These two had a really nice vibe going on, both creatives – both in tune with one another. They meshed together well.
So far, I’m loving both stories in this series – up next is Juniper!
If you haven’t, I’d encourage you to download this series.
