Olympus Has Fallen was one of my favorite movies of 2013. I am a sucker for a good action movie and that film starring Gerard Butler provided the action, the thrill, and just enough emotion and grit that I needed. It received mixed reviews upon release, but it was a hit, especially for me.

I had no idea that there was going to be a follow-up and I am pissed that none of you told me sooner!

London Has Fallen brings back the main characters including Butler, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart and Angela Bassett.

The British Prime Minister has died and the who’s who of country leaders convene in London to attend the funeral. What is supposed to be the most protected event ever turns into a deadly game when the world’s most powerful leaders are killed. The terrorists want the U.S. President dead but we know that Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) will not let that happen. It will be up to Banning and Asher, with a little help, to stop these attacks.
