The Boy Next Door

Jennifer Lopez is back in a starring role for the upcoming film, The Boy Next Door.

Per their website:

Jennifer Lopez leads the cast in THE BOY NEXT DOOR, a psychological thriller that explores a forbidden attraction that goes much too far. Directed by Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious) and written by Barbara Curry, the film also stars Ryan Guzman, John Corbett and Kristin Chenoweth.

So basically Lopez’s character, after being neglected by her husband for a long time, sleeps with her next door neighbor. Oh, who by the way, is her student. Cue the drama because this boy is going to be much more trouble than anyone had ever expected.

This gives me Fatal Attraction tease but obviously the roles are reversed here. It looks like its going to be a solid film and should do pretty well considering Lopez’s star power. I’ll be going to see as it as I am actually one of those fans who prefers her acting career over the music.

The Boy Next Door hits theaters January 23, 2015.
