On The List: Empire

No. 3 on the list: another FOX show, Empire starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.

These two reunite after the 2005 film Hustle & Flow and it looks like this new show will be just as entertaining. I absolutely loved Taraji in Person of Interest and was pissed when she was killed off so it is good to see her on network TV again. Her character will definitely add an interesting dynamic to show by the looks of it.

Premiering in spring of 2015, this Lee Daniels and Danny Strong penned drama follows the head of a music empire (Howard) whose children and ex-wife all fight to see who will head the music magnate’s company after being diagnosed with a disease that will leave him unable to remain in control.

On another note, when was the last time Terrence was in some sort of high profile project? Not including The Best Man Holiday, was it perhaps Red Tails? His star power really went down after the Iron Man fiasco and then some other issues which is a shame because I do like him as an actor. This should be good for him though.
